Lin Dan , 林丹 (born 14 October 1983) is a men's singles badminton player from Fujian China. I believe that Lin Dan is the most success badminton player at this time, because he had won a lot of tournament which enable him to hold the world ranking number one for 2 years since 2004. He was rank world number 2, behind Lee Chong Wei for a short period of time and regained his number 1 ranking in October 2006 until now.

Lin Dan is a aggressive and ferocious attacker, he often did some big smash in his game and pushing opponent side line. Most importantly, i think he is super physically fit. I had saw him in Singapore open 2005, when he walk beside me, he gave me a super fit kind of feeling, which i could not explain.

I think in term of some of the technical skills which need more of a feel in controlling, Lin Dan are at a disadvantage. One of his technical skills that not really polish compare to taufik and Lee Chong Wei will be netting.
